Happy Holidays

Good Morning everyone! Welcome back to my page, or if you're new here, Welcome!

Wow, what a year this has turned out to be, ups and downs, highs and lows, but eventful all the same. I've been working on various pieces in my spare time, which seems to have diminshed a lot over the last few months, as well as doing my best to catch up with my reading so I can add new reviews to "To read...or not".

Did I succeed? yes. I have some new reviews to post and I'll be doing that over the next few days - even over Christmas itself! Perhaps the biggest thing I've been doing of late is planning to move house in the new year. It isn't a small move either, I'm moving hundreds of miles south to Dagenham! So for me the last few weeks have found me planning and plotting, working out what items I want to keep and what I am happy to deposit at the local charity shop. I made a start on the donations last week after finally reaching an agreement with mysekf, but there's still a lot to do and more things to pack and plan for.

That doesn't mean I'm abandoning you guys though. I'll be blogging and adding book reviews along the way, and of course I'll let you know once we've settled into our new home.

I want to wish you all a very happy holidays, whatever it is that you'll be doing this year. I wish you all the very best wishes for love, health and happiness. Stay close to your families, make new memories and celebrate the old ones. Keep a thought in your hearts for those too poorly to celebrate, and pledge to make a difference, whether that is donating to your local food bank, or volunteering to do something meaningful in the new year. Share a thank you to the Nurses and Doctors working through this festive period to keep patients as well as possible.

Whoever you are, whatever your religion, creed, colour, sexuality; have a great Christmas, a happy new year! Remember, sometimes it is the smallest of actions that make the biggest differences. So think about what you can do today to make a difference.

Take care, stay safe and as always, Keep Reading! x
