Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog; or if you're new here, welcome! I'm happy to have you.
you may know if you've read my last blog post, I recently lost my beloved Nanna at the age of 96. I'm still a little traumatised by the loss, my Nanna has been a fixture in my whole life up to now and the thought that she's gone is like a hole in my heart
that will never be filled. I adored her. I can't help but think about all of the things that my Nanna won't see me do now, like publish my books, get married, maybe have children (gods and health conditions permitting). So I write for my Nanna's memory and
will continue to do so as that is exactly what my Nanna would've wanted me to do.
I'm in the middle of moving to London, a huge move for me and for more than one reason,
firstly, it means moving around 135 miles from my current home and the place I was born, Nottingham. Secondly, and important to me is that this is the first time that I will have actually lived with someone other than my parents in over a decade. I sympathise
with anyone moving house right now. I didn't realise how much stuff I had until I decided to move house. Wow, the gunk you acquire in 10 years is scary!
Good news is I'm still
writing, nothing will stop that. I remembered to bring one of my working draft notebooks with me for a book/Novella I'm calling "Mother Knows Best". I plan on this being a spooky ghostly affair with a hint if murder and intrigue in it. Of course I'll let you
know how I get on.
Don't forget to check out my book reviews, 2 new ones were posted today and there might be a third yet! At least there will be a couple more by the
end of the week. You might just find your new interest somewhere in the listings.
Well that's it from me for now, so stay safe, look after each other and as always, Keep Reading!
