The Music I Work To...

What am I listening to?

I have a habit of listening to different kinds of music as I work. What I listen to depends usually on two things; my mood and what I'm working on.

On any given day, I may work on just one of my pieces, or I may break down my day, working on three or four pieces.

So what does my current playlist look like? I'll show you....

Hammock, Bloodstream, We Radiate, Obsession, Head Over Heels, Beauty Of The Dark, Cut, All You Wanted, The Fellowship - The Vampire Diaries Soundtrack Album

Black Coffee, All Hooked Up - All Saints

Everything Burns, Pieces Of A Dream, I Belong To You - Anastacia

The Other Side - Bruno Mars

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This - Eurythmics

Going Under, Bring Me To Life, Everybody's Fool, Haunted, Tourniquet - Evanescence

A&E, Ooh La La, Number 1 - Goldfrapp

Sweet Child O'Mine, Live and Let Die - Guns N Roses

Disturbia - Rhianna

Supermassive Black Hole - Muse

Decode - Paramore

Leave Out All The rest - Linkin Park

As you can see, the list is mostly rock, with a little bit od Indie and splash of RnB and Pop mixed in for luck.

I'll add a new list when I change my playlist again.

I'm going to add a little note here to say that I am loving Newton Faulkner right now! I have his albums and they are featuring heavily on my playlist at the moment... I'll add a few tracks on here once I have a list of those that I'm listening to the most!

some more tunes I'm loving at the moment..

Hi everyone!

it has been an age since I last updated the playlist so I thought I'd add a few more of my favorites from the past few months.

Imagine Dragons - Radioactive : an amazing track, I actually first heard it as the theme to "The Host" movie and since then I've had it on youtube more times than I can count!

Pitbull - pick either Feel this Moment or Timber : both ok tracks, I'm not one for listening to rap or whichever genre of music Pitbull fits into, but these are good, catchy tunes that you either can't stop hearing in your head or tapping your feet to when they're played on the radio.

Amy Macdonald - Dancin' in the Dark: yes, this is a cover of the Bruce Springsteen track, but this is a good version of it, I like it when I'm trying to think.

Naughty Boy - La La La: I wasn't too sure of this at first, but it works, another track that you get in your head and can't stop singing! - all together now "I'm covering my ears like a kid, when your words mean nothing, I go La La La"..okay, I promise to stop now.

Katy Perry - Roar: Girl power of a new kind, I like Katy Perry's music, some tracks more than others I admit, like Wide Awake, Firework, and so on.

that will do for now I think, I've given you all food for thought! Happy Listening, and keep your eyes open for new entries in the new year!
