welcome to the 2nd review for the day.
This one is for the book that inspired the HBO tv series, "Big Little Lies" by Liane Moriarty.
I don't know about you, but I am one of those who likes to read the book before
I watch the tv show. That is what I wanted to do with "Big Little Lies" and I'm glad I did. The book is based in Australia opposed to the tv show that has the story based in the US.
The storyine jumps straight in with police interviews so you
know somethiong has happened but not the what, before taking you back to how the whole thing started, something that I think makes for a clever plot line.
I enjoyed the view to how the other half lives, but also the underlying sense that things
were not all ok in paradise, something that is apparent with Celeste.
If you haven't read this one, where have you been?? I would highly recommendt his one for the comedy, escapism and just general enjoyment.
I give this book a 4
book score. Highly enjoyable and I would read it again!
I'm not going to go into too much detail due to the spoilers but read the book - you won't be disappointed.
Enjoy, and as always, Keep Reading! x
